Novatek launches 50 bln rbl hydrocracking unit in Ust-Luga
UST-LUGA, Leningrad Region, Jun 14 (PRIME) -- Russian independent gas producer Novatek on Wednesday launched a 50 billion ruble hydrocracking unit at its facility for fractionation and transshipment of stable gas condensate in the port of Ust-Luga.
Currently, Novatek–Ust-Luga operates another unit for processing of stable gas condensate into butane fraction, light and heavy naphtha, A-1 jet kerosene, gasoil, and bunker diesel component in the port with a nominal capacity of two technological sections amounting to 6 million tonnes per year.
The new hydrocracking unit has a capacity of 1 million tonnes per year to drive the depth of processing of stable gas condensate to 99%.
The unit was built in the framework of the company’s agreement with the Energy Ministry, and the share of Russian equipment used in its construction reached 60%.
